Three Questions of a Great Sports Parent
_
01
What do I really WANT?
The Harvard negotiation project has established that one of the best ways to get the blood back in your brain when you are emotionally triggered is to ask a question. Research indicates that this question, “What do I really want?” is one of the best that we can ask ourselves to get the blood flowing back in our brain so we can think clearly again. This question also carves open the vast opportunity for a higher and wider perspective on our young athlete in the Arena.

One is not to get your heart’s desire.
The other is to get it.”

What do I need to CELEBRATE?
Celebrating the good in ourselves and our young athletes enables us to begin to look for and monitor the good, as well as reinforcing the great choices that they are making in the Arena.
“Celebrate what you want to see more of.”
/// Tom Peters
Celebrate your successes. Find some humor in your failures.
